The Project
Lintmill Lodges approached us at the start of their business venture with a clear vision: to create a back-to-nature Shepherd Hut retreat in Sorn, Ayrshire, the heart of Burns country!
Situated on the banks of the River Ayr, the site was once home to the historic Linthouse Farm, which provided flax for producing linen fabrics, twine, and rope. We drew inspiration from this rich history to create the Lintmill brand mark, featuring a traditional shepherd hut, tree, and waterwheel.
To showcase the charm of the Shepherd Huts, we commissioned local photographer KSG to capture both the exterior and interior of the lodges, each featuring its own individual wood-fired hot tub.
Ongoing marketing and design support is in progress to help promote the accommodation to potential visitors.
